Emergency response operations where a system must be on-site in minutes and the recovery rate is higher than that of using sorbent pads. Spills of diesel, hydraulic or light to medium lubricants and mixtures of kerosene and IFO are the target response materials. System can be operated from a vehicle or small boat. Down manholes or other confined spaces are where the MI-2E is useful. This skimmer is not suitable for flammable atmospheres.

Permanent or response system where the system must be intrinsically safe or utilized for extended periods of time. The reliable power packs and disc motors are perfectly suited for long term operations.

Diesel power adds portability to the MI-2H skimmer system. The power pack and skimmer can be handled by two men and on-site and set up within minutes.

30 GPM

The only non circular skimmer, this is also our fully air powered unit. Lightweight and easy to handle, this system can be operated in any operating environment, but is best suited to industrial applications where a clean, dry air source exits and volatile atmospheres might be an issue.

65 GPM

This system, optimized for diesel oil, can operate continuously for days on end by adding fuel and checking the engine oil. Recovery rates at > 95% efficiency on oils as light as jet fuel can be expected with the actual capacity being a function of the API gravity and viscosity of the oil to be recovered.

The MI-30 has the widest operating range of all the skimmers in the Morris line. Products ranging from diesel to heavy fuel oil have been recovered for weeks on end with this Morris skimmer in conditions ranging from the tropics to the high arctic. 10 cSt or 10,000 cSt, the MI-30 can be trusted to recover oils at efficiencies > 90 %. (Rate will vary.) With Diesel, you can count on 15 GPM of almost pure product recovered.

The MI-50 uses many of the same features as the MI-30 but puts them in a large aluminum hull with a do-all Desmi DOP 160 recovery pump. The MI-50 brings economical recovery over a wide range of conditions to sea conditions of as much as 2 meter swells. Four banks of discs and a large central well provided the best advantage to the internal submersible pump system. The DOP, Archimedes screw, pump can offload the heaviest of recovered oils
